There are $30,000 in awards for Lilly HBCU Virtual Hackathon projects! Please note that awards will be payable to the winning Entrant’s HBCU as selected on the submission form. It will be the responsibility of the winning Entrant’s HBCU to allocate the Award among the participating members, as the HBCU deems appropriate.
$10,000 for 1 Grand Award Winning Project
$5,000 for 2 Projects that provide the Best Solution to a Problem Statement
$1,000 for 10 Honorable Mentions
During the Lilly HBCU Virtual Hackathon, Lilly is asking HBCU students like you to build a project that helps solve one of these problem statements:
- Highlighting safety narrative through AI/ML
- Introducing a web-based medicine information sheet

Check your eligibility
This hackathon is only open to active students at a Historically Black College or University (HBCU) who are legal residents of the 50 United States (including the District of Columbia). All registrants are also required to register for the event on the Lilly HBCU Hackathon Landing page.
